The clips were sent to the CBI’s Central Forensic Science

"We have received a report on four video clips from the Gandhinagar laboratory and they have been described as genuine. A report on the other clips, being examined at the CFSL, is awaited," special commissioner of police (special cell) Arvind Deep said on Tuesday. As per final reports submitted to the Delhi police’s special cell by the forensic lab, there has been no tampering with the footage of these four videos. However, final report is still awaited on another set of video clips, including the one broadcast by a few TV news channels that were alleged to be doctored.

 

The clips were sent to the CBI’s Central Forensic Science Laboratory for a complete analysis.Four video clippings of the controversial February 9 event in Jawaharlal Nehru University, sent earlier for examination to the Forensic Science Laboratory in Gandhinagar, have been found genuine. Apart from the one recorded by a camera of a Hindi TV news channel, these video clips, were mostly shot on mobile phones of JNU security guards and other students who were present during the February 9 event during which anti-Indian slogans were allegedly raised. "The central laboratory is also examining the concerned TV news channel’s camera, storage card and wire among other equipment.. Their report is expected to arrive in a week," Mr Deep added

"Nothing is agreed until everything is agreed," she added.The European Union is trying to broker a series of reforms to Britain’s relationship with the bloc ahead of a looming "in-out" referendum that could be held as early as June this year. The talks will take place in Paris at 18:00 GMT. Mr Cameron had wanted the European Union to recognise a series of principles including that countries outside the eurozone like Britain should not face discrimination or disadvantage. British officials hope a deal can be nailed down at an EU summit in Brussels on Thursday and Friday. Mr Hammond also predicted that negotiations at this week’s summit "would go to the wire"
